Below, some older pictures of Autumn. On the left at about four months, and on the right at about six months, sitting in one of her favorite spots (under the
kitchen chair) and playing with her favorite toy, a stuffed beaver. We fell in love with her instantly upon her arrival in our househould in January 2006. We
do still miss our Royal (he succumbed to a brain tumor in March 2005) , but since Autumn is from the same bloodline as our handsome boy, we knew she'd
grow up to be a beautiful dog  with a wonderful personality.
Below and right, Autumn getting primped in October 2006,
just a couple weeks prior to her first birthday. It's amazing to
watch her be transformed from "drowned rat" to majestic
leonine beauty in just 45 minutes! Thank heavens for
high-powered hair dryers. Brad has always taken great
pleasure in grooming our dogs - it's great bonding time.
Here's our lovely girl, Autumn. The pictures above were
taken on her 2nd birthday in October 2007. As you can tell,
she is
the apple of her daddies' eyes. At right, she looks
majestic against one of our oriental rugs.
Since chow chows
were bred to be palace guard dogs, we think that guarding
the rugs is an appropriate job for our majestic princess.
Autumn, our wonderful chow chow!
These were taken the day we picked her up from her breeder, Cindy Stone. Autumn fell in love with us right away too!
At left and right,
pictures from the
day we first met
Autumn in
December 2005.
She was about six
weeks old, and
already a
heartbreaker! As
you can see, we
think she's pretty
irresistible. She
gets lots of hugs,
and gives many
licks and tail wags
in return.
